I. Tickets - conditions of sale

In the following document the reference to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum is referred to as The Museum and the purchaser of the ticket as The Visitor.

In purchase of ticket(s) from the Museum the visitor must understand and agree that:

The ticket(s) is/are valid only for the number of person(s) and the date stated on the ticket(s).

During the visit the visitor must retain his/her/their ticket(s) for production on demand by Museum official(s)/representative(s).

The ticket(s) cannot be transferred or exchanged.

The visit to the Museum or any exhibition thereof is at all times subject to any notice to visitor(s) posted by the Museum on its premises; the direction, supervision and guidance of our staff; and our visitor regulations (a copy of which may be inspected on notices on the perimeter of the premises).

The Museum reserve the right, at its discretion, to alter any advertised arrangements for the museum/exhibition, cancel any museum/exhibition time slot and/or close the museum/exhibition without notice; AND in any such eventuality

  1. The Museum shall not be liable for any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated savings or goodwill (whether direct or indirect) or for any indirect, special or consequential loss of any kind and in each case how-so-ever arising, even if you have advised us of the possibility of same; and
  2. Maximum liability of the Museum shall not exceed the total amount paid in purchase of ticket(s).
  3. The Museum reserves the right, without liability, to refuse entry to museum/exhibition and/or escort the visitor from the premises if there is any breach any of these conditions.
  4. This agreement is subject to the legal jurisdiction of the State of Rajasthan, India.

II.Category of ticket holders

The following definitions will apply to ticket sales from the Museum:

  1. Child: a person aged from 5 years old to 12 years old (both inclusive).
  2. Adult: Any person above 12 years of age.
  3. Senior Citizen: A person who is 60 years of age and above.
  4. Disabled person: a child, adult or senior who holds proof of receipt of incapacity benefit, disabled person’s tax credit or disability living allowance.
  5. Care taker: a person accompanying a disabled person.
  6. Student: an adult who shows valid photographic student ID. International students need to produce International Student ID in English.
  7. Defense personnel: a person serving in Indian Defense Force.

III.E-tickets

Buying e-tickets

When buying e-tickets for Museum/exhibitions or event(s) the Visitor(s) is/are entering into an agreement with the Museum on e-specific terms that incorporate the common terms of use of this website applicable to all transactions.

Receiving your e-ticket

As soon as online booking of the ticket(s) has been confirmed, a confirmed e-ticket(s) will be sent to the email address specified.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check, prior to purchase, that the information supplied with regards to your e-ticket(s) is accurate. The e-ticket(s) will be issued in accordance with the information provided.

Using your e-ticket

E-tickets are valid only for the date/time stated upon them.

On arrival at the Museum, the following will be required in order to validate an e-ticket purchased through the Royal Jaipur website:

  1. Appropriate proof of entitlement to any discounted ticket rate claimed (photographic identification/proof of age) for each person to be admitted with the ticket.
  2. A legible printout of your e-ticket.
  3. The credit or debit card used to purchase the e-ticket through this website. The Museum reserves the right to charge normal entry prices to any person not able to validate their e-ticket in the above manner.
  4. Any additional person(s) wishing to enter with an e-ticket holder will be required to pay the normal entry rates.

IV.Access to the Museum

Access is subject to visitor guide policy.
